Renova Timbúes is one of the country’s most remarkable engineering works, and it is the world’s largest plant. Three years were required for the construction of the first stage of the project, which has been operating in its full capacity since 2013. The third crushing line works started in 2016 and crushing with expanded capacity since 2019.
The Renova Timbúes facility is a next generation plant located in Timbúes, Department of San Lorenzo, Province of Santa Fe, on the right bank of Coronda River. The plant is located at a venue with a surface of 741,32 acres (300 hectares), and its daily grinding capacity equals 32,400 tons of soy through three production lines.
The production process begins with the daily receipt of approximatively 2,000 trunks loaded with soybeans, which are stocked in a warehouse with a storage capacity for 310,000 tons of seeds. The soybeans are sent to the preparation area, where they go through a selection, cleaning, husking, breaking and laminating process. Then, the extraction process begins, and soy meal, oil and lecithin are obtained.
The plant has an exclusive port designed to achieve the highest efficiency in loading the different products.
Our shipment port has two loading docks and another, new dock for the unloading of barges.
The shipment capacity of each dock is as follows:
Renova Timbúes has an energy cogeneration system which allows the plant to self-sufficiently provide for its total energy consumption.
The facility aims to be an undisputed benchmark for the industry, not only in terms of the volume of its production and its dimensions, but also in terms of the efficiency and the quality of its people’s work.
The Renova facility operates according to the highest international standards, taking care of every detail and contemplating the most valuable resources, like the collaborators from every area. Likewise, the linearity of the process ensures the safety and the quality of its products, which is a unique differentiator in comparison with the other plants of its type, and meets the most stringent environmental demands on a global scale. Together with the reliability and the strict environmental control, Renova acknowledges sustainable development as one of its main pillars, operating safely and responsibly, and managing the impact of its actions, products and services with a preventive and environmentally efficient approach, which goes beyond the most demanding requirements.
Quality assurance is extremely important to Renova, since all the necessary product quality and safety requirements are met with excellence.
Assuming the importance of the development of all activities and relying on safety, quality, environmental care and social responsibility, Renova is committed to following an Integrated Management Policy which considers key points. Creating quality and safe products, ensuring the health and physical well-being of all its employees, assuring environmental care, and designing a management strategy which allows for the continuous improvement in every level of the organization are only some of the pillars in which the company works constantly and responsibly in order to streamline the available resources and meet its customers’ needs.
Grinding of 32,400 tons of soy per day (10,875,000 tons per year). This equals the production of 17,297.38 acres (10,000 hectares) of soy processed per day, 46 trucks per hour.
