Lecithin

It is a natural mix of polar and non-polar lipids which is obtained as a by-product of the grinding of soy seeds. Lecithin has a high phospholipid content, and it is a dispersing agent, a viscosity modifier and a natural origin emulsifier. It is used in paints, tannery, and farm animal, fish and pet feeding, since it provides fatty material and it improves digestibility and conversion rates. It is also used in food industry as a natural, edible and digestible emulsifier for margarines, chocolates, candies, chewing gums, cocoa powder, milk powder and baking, among other things.

Biodiesel

It is a renewable fuel obtained from different raw materials, in this case, soy oil. Biodiesel can be used in its pure form (B100), or it can be mixed with diesel.

Crude degummed soybean oil

This oil is produced by processing soybeans. We use a solvent (hexane) for the extraction process.
The quality specifications are the following:
- Acidity: 1% maximum
- Humidity: 0.2% maximum
- Phosphorus: 200 ppm maximum
- Flash point: 249.8°F (121 °C)
We have the following certifications: Kosher / Halal

Glycerin

Glycerin is a very versatile compound which can be “crude” (80% purity) or refined (100% purity, approximatively). It is a product with applications in different activities, the main ones being the food industry, the cosmetics industry and the tobacco industry. It has moisturizing, emulsifying and sweetening functions, and it can be used to increase density and viscosity, as well as reducing the freezing point of a wide variety of formulations. Renova is the biggest refined glycerin producer in Latin America. The company has 2 state-of-the-art plants located in San Lorenzo. It offers higher quality, 100% vegetal / Kosher, USP-grade glycerin in different packagings, through different logistics solutions.

Refined oil

The purpose of the refining process is to remove unwanted constituent parts of crude oil, i.e., impurities such as fatty acids, phosphatides, pigments, metals, waxes, etc., reducing to a minimum the damage to glycerides and the loss of desirable constituent parts. This process produces an edible oil with the desired characteristics for consumers, such as a soft flavor and smell, clean appearance, clear color, oxidation stability and frying suitability.
